How to Achieve Nicola Peltz's Bridal Glow
Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham just got hitched. And did you see the bride’s next-level hair, makeup, and radiant glow? *Gasp.*
Nicola Peltz’s wedding oozed ‘90s glamor with her Claudia Schiffer-inspired half-up, half-down do created by super hairstylist Adir Abergel. Oh, and did you see that incredible Valentino gown? As much as we adored those ‘90s supermodel vibes and her stunning wedding dress, we couldn’t help but notice her absolutely flawless complexion. Okay, so maybe it’s the glow of love, but we’re pretty sure she had an arsenal of savvy skincare products on hand to secure head to toe sparkle on her big day. And, most probably, a skincare routine that spanned the months ahead of her wedding day.
The actress even outshined her famous (and incredibly attractive) in-laws Victoria Beckham and David Beckham. And everyone else there — including members of the Spice Girls.
Whether you’re getting ready to tie the knot or simply eager to mimic Peltz’s (excuse me...Beckham’s) bridal beauty look, it’s definitely possible with a few good skincare products — and tips.
Here’s how to achieve Nicola Peltz’s bridal glow, with beauty tips from the bride herself.
Sculpting Treatments and Spa Days
According to Peltz’s facialist Lena Bratschi, bridal skincare prep started months ago. Bratschi has taken care of the actress’s skin for nearly a decade now, and also looks after a slew of other celebrities including Ashley Graham and Eva Mendes.
With Peltz’s hefty work and travel schedule, Bratschi’s goal was to “restore her natural glow and rebalance the skin to its perfect best.”
To do that, the Hollywood facialist set up a spa in the actress’s Palm Beach, Florida home to ensure she’s looking luminous for her wedding day.
“I use a mix of everything from microcurrent to give a subtle sculpting effect, to Carasoin LED therapy, which helps build collagen and balances the skin,” Bratschi told Vogue. “Plus oxygen infusion to hydrate and nourish, and cryogenic stem cells to help promote healthy cell regeneration.”
On the wedding day itself, she provided a very light sculpting treatment to accent Peltz’s stunning facial structure, followed by hydration to prep skin for makeup application.
For at-home skin sculpting, try Truly’s Full Body TREATment which features six skin-firming products powered by powerhouse actives like retinol, vegan collagen, and ceramides.
Eye Masks
Just like her super glam mother-in-law Victoria Beckham, Peltz is a huge fan of the 111SKIN Celestial Black Diamond Eye Masks. They’re loaded with vitamins and retinol to retexture skin, smooth out fine lines, and blast away puffiness and dark circles.
You can achieve similar results from Truly’s Eye Candy Anti-Puff Eye Cream, a formula of hyaluronic acid and sea kelp to depuff, fade dark circles, and revive tired eyes.
Exfoliation
Exfoliation is key when it comes to upping your skin’s glow. It helps buff away dead skin cells on the skin’s surface to reveal a fresh layer of skin underneath. Plus, it helps other products in your arsenal work harder.
Try Truly’s Glow Up Kit, a 3-step formula featuring a mask, serum, and pimple patches — and ideal for bridal skin prep. Mary Jane Glow Mask + Serum contain a slew of brightening ingredients such as glycolic acid, caffeine, and retinol to resurface skin and illuminate your complexion. Super Heart Acne Patches contain hydrocolloid and benzoyl peroxide to drain active zits of dirt and oil while speeding up the healing process. It’s the perfect pre-wedding prep trio for beautiful bridal skin.
Chanel’s Glow Stick
When it came to Peltz’s wedding makeup, the star relied on Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee to accentuate her natural beauty.
“The intention was to accentuate her natural features, while adding a few modern, not-so-traditional details,” Kate told British Vogue. To create the natural look, Kate turned to Chanel’s Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in Pearlescent. Applied to the cheekbones and collarbones, this little miracle workers creates a stunning subtle glow.
You can achieve a similar effect from Truly’s Moon Lit Shimmer Oil — a sparkling body oil made with an illuminating blend of chai spices, aloe, and vanilla.
Victoria Beckham-Inspired Skincare
It turns out, the blonde bride is a huge fan of the Victoria Beckham beauty range. One of her favorite products is the Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum from Beckham’s collaboration with Augustinus Bader.
“This is Victoria’s serum, this stuff is insane. And I feel like all of her products, they’re so good for your skin but they also enhance the way the makeup looks, which is sometimes really tricky,” Peltz explains in her Vogue video.
After patting the serum over her face, Petz seals in the hydration with her fave Augustinus Bader’s The Cream. At over $200 for a tub of cream and over $300 for the serum, you might be looking for alternatives?
Try Truly’s Cream Skin Face Cream which (like the serum and cream above) contains hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and nourish skin.
Glossy Bridal Hair
As for her hair, that mesmerizing Brigitte Bardot slash Claudia Schiffer ‘do that’s currently trending everywhere was all down to the talented hands of celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel.
“She’s been sending me all of these rad images of early Claudia Schiffer – including pictures of her with bangs," he told Vogue. “It was all about keeping her hair beautiful, soft and smooth. Think luxe, polished texture, but with fullness and movement to it.”
On the day of her nuptials, Peltz’s wedding hair was prepped with Virtue Healing Oil and Un-Frizz Cream to help hydrate and tame frizz while giving strands extra shine. The end result? A mane work of art!
Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding was a memorable event. Besides Peltz’s showstopping Valentino gown and Bardot-inspired hairdo, her skin was simply dazzling on the day. We couldn’t help but wonder...what does she use to get skin that gleams like that?
With a few good skincare products and the commitment to make them part of your daily skincare routine, you too can achieve Nicola Peltz’s bridal glow.
