Truly Beauty: What’s been your favorite place to shoot for Truly?
Anna Callahan: My favorite place to shoot for Truly has been Positano, Italy! The views were stunning and we were filming routines all over the city. Each spot felt like a dream!
If you could choose your dream destination for a vacay, where would it be?
Hawaii or Bali! I love tropical destinations and being outdoors, and these both look so beautiful.
Do you have a go-to travel outfit?
My new go-to travel/airplane outfit is my Truly hoodie set. We got them custom made for our Mexico City trip, and they’re sooo comfy. I’m always wearing a cozy set!
What are your top 7 travel essentials?
I have sooo many. My top 7 are:
- A mini skincare kit so I can feel fresh and hydrated after any travel day. Truly’s Glazed Donut Facial Serum is a MUST).
- A portable phone charger because one thing about me is my phone is always dead.
- A mini perfume! Truly’s Vanilla Baby Mini Perfume is in my bag at all times. It’s the perfect size.
- Sunglasses always.
- Silk scrunchies or a claw clip.
- My pink airpods.
- A reusable water bottle! I love the pink Stanley cups.
How do you snap the perfect travel shot?
I love to shoot during golden hour for dreamy lighting! And having a mix of close-up and far away shots.
Do you have any beauty hacks for beating jet lag?
I love to apply Truly’s Glazed Donut Moisturizer right before the flight to avoid dry skin! I also always pack under eye patches to avoid puffiness.
How do you stay smooth while traveling?
I always pack a shave routine with me! Skincare is so important to keep consistent, so having my mini shave set is a must. The mini’s of Truly’s Smooth Legend Shave Set are the perfect additions to my carry on.
If you could create a Truly product inspired by a destination, what would it be?
I’d create a nourishing coconut and hibiscus moisturizer inspired by Hawaii! This product would leave your skin soft and sooo smooth.
